(Sunday Morning Children’s program – ages 4 & up)

WELCOME  FAMILIES !

Join us for Sunday Worship at 10:30 am.  Something for all ages! 

Families begin worship together, then after a Family Time story, children join the Discovery Zone where leaders and groups of children work in a rotation style, learning through drama, craft and cooking. 

At 11:45 am, children are welcome to stay for Junior Choir, led by our music director Art Wenk. Practices consist of informal singing around the grand piano and children have the opportunity to share their talents in worship as Art leads them in joyful song!

In summer we continue with our Children’s program but also take advantage of summertime to incorporate other fun activities.

The themes are created to intersect with the lectionary readings but will likely include a variety of stories, both biblical and secular, to engage the children’s imagination and experience.

Lee-Ann is working on livening up the auditorium by adding more colour and pictures. The goal is to make the area more welcoming and friendly to children, to communicate that we want children to feel that they belong here.  Thank you to Jeanne Elgie Watson for sewing covers for our DZ bulletin boards - they are colorful and bring energy to the room!
