Rev.  Norman Seli

Norm Seli comes from a background in Theatre, Music and Classical Studies, graduated from Emmanuel College and ordained in the early 90’s; he has practiced ministry with Children, Youth and Seniors in a variety of settings.  While living in Southern Ontario his whole life, Norm was Minister and Liturgist in an old established downtown Toronto Church for 7 years, a two-point rural pastoral charge for ten years, and for the past six years, in team ministry here at Jubilee United Church.  An Emerging Spirit leader through much of that program’s mandate (remember the Bobble Head ads?), Norm twitters frequently, maintains the Jubilee Facebook Page and many of his Emerging Spirit blogs were recently published by the United Church of Canada as part of “Faith in a Time of Change”.

Norm lives with his wife Anne, between one and three of his grown sons (depending on who’s coming or going), a cat named Henny and a dog named Gladys, most of whom simply love him for who he is, even when it’s inconvenient.  Currently responsible for 8 to 10 worship gatherings and 14 to 16 study groups a month, Norm is enthusiastic about worship, study and eclectic conversation; he is witty, well-spoken and rather full of himself.
