Norm Seli comes from a background in Theatre, Music, and Classical Studies. He graduated from Emmanuel College and was ordained in the early 90’s. He has practiced ministry with Children, Youth, and Seniors in a variety of settings. While living in Southern Ontario his whole life, Norm was Minister and Liturgist in an old established downtown Toronto Church for 7 years, a two-point rural pastoral charge for ten years, and since 2005, in team ministry here at Jubilee United Church. Norm is a qualified Supervisor of students and interns, and is actively involved in the broader United Church as the Chair of the Board of Vocation that is responsible for the support, standards, accreditation and discipline of all United Church of Canada Ministry Personnel. Norm is also on the Board of the Toronto Urban Native Ministry and the Common Boots Theatre Company.
He currently provides Virtual Bible Reflections Mondays through Fridays, as well as a daily Biblical Podcast (both can be found on the Jubilee Website). Norm leads in-person Bible Study at Jubilee on Tuesday mornings at 830, Coffee in the Garden Room on Tuesdays at 1pm and delights in Definitely NOT Church (with the Howling Heretics), Men's Meditation/Book Group on Wednesdays at 7pm, Jubilee Youth and creating new things for the always vital Jubilee Community.
When not at Jubilee, Norm can be found at home with his wife, Anne, Henrietta the cat, and his 'oft visiting’ three sons: Matthew, Michael and Paul, most of whom simply love Norm for who he is, even when it’s inconvenient. In May of 2023, Norm became a Grandfather to Halley and this is probably his greatest joy.

Anne Dionisio has recently returned to Jubilee after a few years at home with her young children. Prior to first arriving at Jubilee in 2015, Anne had a 5-year ministry with a church in southwestern Ontario. She graduated from Emmanuel College and was ordained in early 2016.
Anne is passionate about the church as an intergenerational community of connection and faith building. She can be hard to pin down on a Sunday morning as she supports worship, Godly Play, and pastoral care. Through the week, you will find her engaged in the same activities (at a slower pace), as she invites you to prayer in the sanctuary at Open Doors, engages with small groups, provides pastoral care, prepares for worship, and works with staff and volunteers on whatever wild initiatives they dream up.
At home, Anne and her husband Max live in a general state of shock and awe as they witness their 3 children learning, playing, and becoming Minecraft champions. There are no cats…that would be too much.

Marcus O’Brien graduated from George Brown College with diplomas in both carpentry and cabinetmaking and has spent over 25 years in the construction industry, owning his own contracting firm for almost two decades. His past work includes the tables at George Brown Chef School (still in use after several renovations to the space!) and installations for Felt Studios of large-scale felt walls for various corporations including Scotiabank and Aesop.
Marcus also has a diploma in Lay Ministry from Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, and has spent many years as a warden and senior warden for various congregations.
Marcus’ interest and exposure to building and woodworking started as a child in his grandfather’s basement shop. He grew up attending Forest Grove United Church and was honoured to join Jubilee to coordinate the amalgamation of the two churches and to provide his skills and expertise to the vibrant church and community at Jubilee. Marcus lives in Toronto with his wife and whichever of his three children he can convince to either visit or move home. When not spending time with family and friends, Marcus enjoys kayaking, golfing and pickleball. He is also the master of the dad joke, which only his daughter seems to appreciate.
