Norm Seli comes from a background in Theatre, Music, and Classical Studies. He graduated from Emmanuel College and was ordained in the early 90’s. He has practiced ministry with Children, Youth, and Seniors in a variety of settings. While living in Southern Ontario his whole life, Norm was Minister and Liturgist in an old established downtown Toronto Church for 7 years, a two-point rural pastoral charge for ten years, and since 2005, in team ministry here at Jubilee United Church. Norm is a qualified Supervisor of students and interns, and is actively involved in the broader United Church as the Chair of the Board of Vocation that is responsible for the support, standards, accreditation and discipline of all United Church of Canada Ministry Personnel. Norm is also on the Board of the Toronto Urban Native Ministry and the Common Boots Theatre Company.
At Jubilee, Norm delights in a dynamic partnership with Rev. Bri-anne Swan and a variety of Worship Services both virtual and in-person. He currently provides Virtual Bible Reflections Mondays through Fridays, as well as a daily Biblical Podcast (both can be found on the Jubilee Website). As Jubilee emerges from the restrictions of pandemic, Norm looks forward to bringing back old favourites like Tuesday Coffee, Theology on Tap, Muffin Church and, of course, Definitely NOT Church (with the Howling Heretics) as well as creating new things for the always vital Jubilee Community.
When not at Jubilee, Norm can be found at home with his wife, Anne, Henrietta the cat, and his 'oft visiting’ three sons: Matthew, Michael and Paul, most of whom simply love Norm for who he is, even when it’s inconvenient. His current commitment is to "doing right" over "being right".

Bri-anne Swan is a singer and songwriter with a heart for all those who have been told that they do not belong. She was commissioned in 2021 after completing her ministry studies at the Centre for Christian Studies (Winnipeg) and St. Andrew's College (Saskatoon). Bri-anne served as Community Minister for the Living Presence Ministry in East Gillimbury — a new, experimental and embedded ministry — beginning in 2017. In 2020, she transitioned to Shining Waters Regional Council as Minister for Social & Ecological Justice and Communications. Since 2019, Bri-anne has been leading Resistance Church, a justice-focused, online ministry of Jubilee that reaches out to those for whom traditional church models are not always relevant or accessible.
Passionate about facilitating spiritual encounters in digital spaces, Bri-anne current hosts the Wilderness Times podcast. You will often find her editing video, reading a good book, writing a song, or designing something for online worship. Bri-anne is also a spiritual advisor to incarcerated individuals on Texas' Death Row. Together with Rev. Norm Seli, she is excited about loving, growing, and learning alongside the Jubilee community.
Bri-anne shares in life with her husband (Rev. Jason), their two children (better known as The Lockdown Brothers), as well as their rescue dog (Dobby) and one-eyed cat (Alastor).
